Passengers
written by Nastja Sittig
It's a long way home
To the place unkwown
It's along way back
Hear the future calling
Back then I saw you grow
Age old childhood dreams
In the springtime snow
Woodland crocuses
And who would have known
That the road going nowhere would carry us back
To a place called home
It's strange and familiar
I heard it before
We are waking up
From the heavy sleep
Once when we were young
We used to fall deep
And now you hear me say:
You will find your way
It takes courage
To go astray
And on a rainy day
The road going nowhere had carried us home
To a place unknown
We've been there already
We've been there before
We are getting old
That's what we've been told
We are getting strange
Puzzled by the course of change
We are passengers
We are passengers
We are passing through
On our way home
To the unknown
